CASE STUDY Krusinski Finest Meats

“We couldn’t be happier with our decision to invest in a Coldtainer box. It’s the perfect size for the number of deliveries we make per day. It’s quiet. It’s very reliable. Lightweight. Fuel efficient. We’re not limited to driving on the main road like we were with the trucks. We see many benefits and we hope to have it for a really long time. It really exceeded all of our expectations.”

Challenge

In 1951, Krusinski’s Finest Meat Products first opened their doors in Cleveland, Ohio. Since then they have been providing their customers with the best Eastern European foods and products in the area, including their world famous pierogis. Part of their business includes selling and delivering meats and ethnic delicacies wholesale to hospitals, cafeterias, and other food businesses. The problem was the 2-ton trucks that they were using to deliver their goods used a lot of fuel, cost a lot of overhead, and couldn’t easily drive in their urban environments to make deliveries. For their business to survive into the future, Krusinski Finest Meats needed an inexpensive and easy way to meet their customers’ delivery needs.

Solution

For Krusinski Finest Meats, the perfect solution was a 915 Coldtainer unit. Able to fit in the back of their delivery van, the Coldtainer unit provides all the temperature control they need, a perfect way to easily navigate Cleveland streets, and the exact of amount of room for their daily delivery requirements.
